Early May in Toronto is still cold. The tree buds patiently wait to make their entrance while winter still holds us in her chokehold, weakened and gasping but refusing to go out without one last bitter roar. The wind stings the back of my neck. It’s a little painful, but it makes me feel alive. I stand outside Toronto’s Hard Luck Bar and let the icy air wake me up as I wait for Patrick Glover, frontman of If Not For Me, to come out for our interview.
