To listen to a metalcore playlist on Spotify without hearing Vana is impossible. With recent singles Pray and In Your Name charting globally, Vana is coming up in the scene… and fast.
Currently on her first North American headline The Lady in Red tour, we caught Vana’s show in Toronto, April 28th (the same night Bring Me The Horizon was playing Scotiabank Arena.) Before her set, I walked down the barricade and asked fans in the front row how they decided to see Vana instead of BMTH and without hesitation every single person said it wasn’t even a question. Her connection with her fan base is deep, evident by the sold out VIP meet and greets, bringing fans on stage to rip Magic The Gathering packs, Twitch streams, and funny and authentic social media content.
